John, Jill, Hope and Noah

About a week ago, my friend John and his family popped over for some informal portraits… mainly for their newly born son, Noah. Also stealing the show was their daughter, Hope. It’s always good to see them when they’re in town and it was great to meet Noah for the first time. I’ve selected a few of my favorites from the session…

Noah, getting his tan on…

I’m not sure what’s up with the arm, but I love Hope’s expression…

The fam…

The story behind this shot: I took this shot to check my settings and Hope was jumping on the couch. We asked her to sit down and she tried to jump into the back of the couch to have a seat. As you can see, there’s not much of the back of the couch, so she just fell off the back! I looked up from my camera and Hope was gone!

Luckily, she calmed down and quit crying for a few more shots…

Megan and Tyler are engaged!!

I had a great time with Megan and Tyler a couple of weeks ago in Fayetteville for their engagement session. We walked up and down Dickson for some great shots. Be sure and look for their wedding images in September!

Marie + Rob’s Engagement Session in Eureka Springs!

This past Sunday, Cyndi and I made the short trip to Eureka Springs to photograph Marie and Rob for their engagement session. We don’t get to go to Eureka enough, and we love photographing people there, so we were happy when Rob suggested it! The streets were really busy, but we were able to find a few places without some people. We are really excited for Marie’s bridal next week and their wedding next month.

They wanted some jumping shots!

Gina + Britt’s Engagement Session in Fayetteville

I’m finally catching up on my blogging from this past weekend. Our final session from last week was with Gina and Britt. I met up with them in Fayetteville and we spent some time on Dickson Street. It really was a lot of fun and I am looking forward to their wedding next month. Here are some of my favs!

Family Fun - Scot, Sabra, Sawyer, + Nash

We didn’t have a wedding this weekend, so our time quickly filled up with portrait appointments.  Our first was on Saturday with my friend Sabra and her gorgeous family.  I’ve known Sabra for close to 5 years now and I’ve watched her family grow.  Check ‘em out!

Scot and Sabra are trying to sell their house, so it was important to them to have some photos taken there.

I just had to add this picture of Sabra and Nash.  Apparently, he will not walk barefoot in the grass.  He kept lifting his feet up when she tried to put him down.  It was HILARIOUS!!
