[b]ecker’s Party of 5

This morning, I woke up at 3:45 to catch my 5:45 flight to Orange County, California where I attended an intimate seminar put on by Becker at his home in Mission Viejo. There were four other photographers there, all from California… Israel Anderson, Masen Larsen, Melissa Koehler and Tracy Kumono. It was really great meeting them and hearing what they had to say. I walked away from the seminar with a great understanding of how Becker makes his photography business run so smoothly. I learned a lot about his workflow from capture to album design and delivery of the files. If you are a new wedding photographer, I highly recommend investing in this seminar. Becker is such a nice and genuine person and it showed the minute I met him in Vegas. He truly wants to help you grow your photography business not only for you, but also for the sake of your clients. We went with Becker on an engagement session in Salmon of Capistrano (movie reference, anyone?… really it’s San Juan Capistrano). Here are just a few shots…

Thanks Becker! I had a great time!

Off to California!

I’m headed to Mission Viejo, California dark and early in the morning to attend Becker’s Party of 5. It’s a small, intimate seminar at Becker’s house where he shows other photographers how smooth his operation is from start to finish. We also get to shoot an engagement session with him and one of his couples.

If you need anything, please feel free to drop me an email or give me a call.

Julie + Danny’s engagement session

I had the great opportunity to photography Julie and Danny’s engagement session in Downtown Rogers last week. They are getting married in Jamaica, and don’t need a photographer down there (dang!), but I was more than happy to shoot their engagement. Julie met with me at the NWA Bridal Premier Showcase earlier in the year and booked me for their shoot. We had a great time and they are so easy to photograph!

They had their dogs for a few of the shots (Denali and Ellie). They were more interested in everything going on around them than the guy with the camera!
