My final Iowa wedding was Jana + Tom’s. They were married on Saturday, September 23rd at the Des Moines Botanical Center, followed by their reception. It was totally different that what I am used to photographing and I loved every minute of it. I knew I would have a great time with these two just like I did on their engagement shoot.

If you’ve never been to the Botanical Center, it is really a cool place to go.

I’m a little behind on my blogging, but I wanted to share my favs from Erin + AJ’s wedding. They were married last Saturday at Smith Chapel on Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa and their reception followed at The Temple for Performing Arts in Des Moines. When I photographed their engagement, it ended up raining on us toward the end. This time it started raining on us early during the best lighting for outside formals I have had in a while. Erin was Angela’s (of Angela + Korey) maid of honor last year and liked my style so much they brought me back! It was good seeing a lot of the same people in at at this wedding.
